Back in the analog cell phone days, cell phone company called and asked how I could be in 3 places at once. Said I was making cell phone calls in Mexico, the Philippines and China all within minutes of each other.

I told them I was having Mr Scott and Sulu sit in the transporter room and beam me all over the place, but just long enough to make some calls. They didn't laugh.
