Bobby has handed out kinds of corporate welfare to anyone that will contribute to his pac--Bo Pilgrim, Chouest, Benson, film industry, digital media, Shaw with the sand berms ect, and his brother works for the firm representing BP and lobbies for the film industry. Don't forget the hundreds of millions in consulting contracts to his buddies. Certainly a lot of passing around of our money. (Let's not even ponder the state cost of his constant campaigning and his indifference to actually remaining in state while he is governor.)
And he is still the best Governor the state of Louisiana has had in last 50 years maybe even longer.
quote:
Landrieu has her government paid campaign trips and her husband makes "commission" on sales and purchases of property by lobbyist. (When is commission a bribe I wonder?)
Her district must be a miserable place to live. For the life of me I don't know how she gets re-elected in a southern state like La. It just goes to show how stupid a group of people can be.
quote:
Vitter and his prostitutes. I wonder how many were bought by lobbyists?
I really don't care that he banged a prostitute, hell I would be more surprised if he hadn't. I don't really like him though because he is all talk and no action. I can't think of anything he actually did other than voting Republican.
