She would probably tell me I suffer from Stockholm syndrome. She would likely think I'm not a good role model for young women because I didn't park my kids in daycare while I pursued a "career". She would scoff at the notion that I actually enjoy doing things to make my husband happy because she wouldn't understand that our marriage is amazing because we value each others happiness. I bet she would hate my "submissive" approach to large purchases - never mind that its a practical position rather than submissive.


If feminism were still about equality -I'd support it.
If feminism valued women who chose to pursue traditional roles as much as women who chose to work- I'd support it.

I don't think all feminists would hate me for my choices. I think if Camille Paglia crossed the road it would be to come hangout in my kitchen and have coffee. We would probably get along just fine.
