1. get card
2. download pics to iPad
3. delete pics from card
4. place the card back in the camera
5. look at pics on iPad

I use a similair adapter that goes to the microUSB port on my tablet. Swap cards, check photos out on tablet. Or I'll view on my phone if I didnt bring the tablet with me.
