re: Old timers- Any of yall catch tarpon in Lake P back in the day?

Back in the '70s, early 80's, a friend of my dad would fish for tarpon off Lincoln Beach. I specifically remember that w would drift fish using live bait. If I can remember correctly, he used live mullets.

I remember he did catch a few, don't remember how many, but he caught a big one, and got itmounted and had it hung in his office.

Both are gone now, my dad passed in '86, and he passed about 10 years later.
