One game at a time, Chief. That's true every year, but it is especially true this year. LSU needs to improve at home over the next two weeks against two "lesser" opponents that are better than a lot of people around here think. If they can work out the kinks over the next two weeks and allow the crazy number of underclassmen that we have to continue to gain game experience, then they will be ready for MSU. If they get by MSU, then they should be fine until that little Auburn/Florida road trip. I actually like LSU in the Swamp, mostly because Florida will be coming off of a two-week road swing including a trip to Tuscaloosa. The AU game could be trouble. If LSU beats Auburn, I have them running the table.
So, to answer your question, I'm going to say that it depends a great deal on the MSU game. If they've progressed enough to beat the Bulldogs in Tiger Stadium, then I'll go out on a limb and say that they make it to 10/26 undefeated. If they lose to Moo State, they may very well have 3 losses.
This is one year that I'm happy that we have several "easy" games early. These next two opponents are teams that will give the Tigers a good test without any great threat of a loss. The schedule sets up extremely well for what this team needs.
