When cooking as a side dish, 1 lb of beans should feed about 10 people. If serving as a main dish, then 1 lb of beans should feed about 6 people.

Serves 50
Beans (lbs.) 5
Salt (oz.) 1.5
Granulated Garlic (oz.) 1.3
Black Pepper (oz.) .5
Red Pepper (oz.) .4
Water (gal.) 1.7
Onions (lbs.) 1.25
Tasso / Andouille (lbs.) 5
Soak beans overnight and drain water. Cook onions in a stock pot until translucent. Throw everything else in the pot and cook until you get a nice creamy consintency in the gravy. I like to thow in some green onions and some parsley at the end for some extra color and flavor.
