He's top notch - he makes and installs coustom muzzle breaks; makes stocks from raw blanks of wood; and he was an Olympic marksman for Brazil in the 60's - so, he has been around guns his whole life. If he isn't comfortable touching the gun, he simply won't do the work.

I'm no expert. But, if the gun's value is paramount, then I wouldn't do a thing to it - keep it in its current condition and it'll be more valuable to a collector.

I also use Chahin as well... Nothing but good experiences with him and always does a quality job.
