There is a tailgate that is hosted by the LSU Alumni Association which you can find on the 2nd post on the first page. I imagine that will be pretty kid friendly. If you are looking just for things to do and not necessarily LSU related items, you can go to the aquarium downtown or the zoo by Hermann park.

Also, if you are downtown take the kids to Discovery Green. It is a large outdoor area that hosts events and has parks, food trucks, vendors, etc. On the weekend of the game, the kids can go kayaking for $5. Discovery Green

Hey TBM, am arriving late @ Hobby (4:20) due to concert Fri nite wanted to see in Miss. Have a car rental and booked Mainstay med center that will want to check in and freshen up then head to game area. Assume make it to hotel by 6 what options to get there recommend. The hotel says shuttle available and also want to party after, so guess use rail and taxi?
