It has been systemic. How many times has a kid said another school seemed to want me more, because they kept in better contact?
How do you know it's a different story now? Too late for Moton, too?

Outside of Stud's recruits, next to none of the guys LSU really wanted have said this, and with the ones who have it's been an obvious cop-out. You're letting the Palelei recruitment shape your opinion on this. Besides that, you just read the comments from Charlot's coach saying he's about to change his number so UT coaches can't blow up his phone. What works for one kid might piss another off. Recruiting isn't just as simple as 'putting in more work' but it's an easy scapegoat, just like the budget, when armchair coaches think they could do better.
