Heck, Peter has NO friends. In two movies they haven't shown him even talking to another friend so Harry's illness should be a huge deal to him.
Once again, giving a vial of blood to test shouldn't be a problem. Just allowing Harry to die a painful death is a dick move.
Identity? Peter doesn't give a crap. He spent half the first movie slinging around without a mask and as I pointed out, he STUPIDLY was slinging around completely out of costume in this movie.

I explained the problems above. Weaponizing his blood, it turning Harry into a super villain, revealing his identity, etc...
