On Ball, I like him in that under zone(rover). That seems like what his game is suited for (much like Vaccaro though Vaccaro can do more).

I could see a package with Byrd single high and Vaccaro and Ball both as rovers(if Ball makes it).

For all of Warren's flash I think Ball is the more polished guy (and is finally starting to flash). It'll be interesting watching them battle for the 4th and 5th safety spots, along with Sunseri.

On the injuries, it happens. It's going to keep happening. They need this work to get their mind and body right to ball. There will be walking wounded and casualties. Just gotta hope the more important guys fight on and the unsung heroes step up.

I see Ball making the roster and Warren heading to the PS.

I'd be very surprised if Ball didn't make the roster.
He has post-college experience, just not NFL experience.

Agreed, the 4th/5th S spot will be fun to watch in preseason. Can Warren be this year's Peirre Thomas and make the roster of the drafted player (Sunseri/Pittman)?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ryan keeping more safeties than normal (and fewer LBs). First, it appears we have more quality depth at that position and Ryan has already said that he's going to more schemes relying on Safeties to offset the ever increasing multiple WR packages.

We're just not hearing much out of the LB position so far.
