VPN and router question - please help

Problem: Since I cut the cord, I will not be able to watch the Saints on TV. Moreover, the NFL Sunday Ticket on the iPad does not let you watch local games. To the question...
Is there a way have the VPN go through the router, so that all wireless devices on the wifi show up at the VPN location?
(I know there is a better way to ask this question.)
ETA: Feel free to ignore this post. I just found out that there are VPNs specifically for iPads.

I don't think so (router based redirection; maybe an open source firmware?) but why not just use the OTA signal?

Just for full clarity:
So, you do not need any special antenna to receive HD. But, if you like certain aspects of an antenna, it may be LABELED as "HD".
Try cheap first.

All over-the-air television in the United States is broadcast using digital signals. There's no difference between a regular TV signal and a high-definition TV signal, or between a regular TV antenna and an HDTV antenna. Antennas may provide features, however, such as the ability to amplify a signal or point directly at a signal, and these antennas are commonly marketed as HDTV antennas. Choose an antenna that receives the HD channels you want to watch.

Also, if you want to watch on your ipad, iphone, desktop, laptop, etc. you can get a network attached tuner with software/apps for tv guides and dvr capability.
Check out EyeTV.
ETA:
I posted the EyeTV because you mentioned the ipad but there are plenty of other devices that vary from as cheap as $50 depending on what you want/expect, but the EyeTV is compatible with almost everything.
I'll probably get it when I'm ready to upgrade because I already have several Rokus and NoWhereMan has a private channel for watching live TV, not just recorded (what I'm limited to now with my HDHomeRun).

Any experience with these? I just checked Amazon and there are a million options all with 4 stars.
