The problem is, Virginia isn't making that choice.
The choice Virginia made was to not give legally valid status to gay marriage.
The "choice" was by one (1) district court judge and two (2) appellate judges.
For federalists like myself, I have a problem with this. If VA actually voted to legalize it, I would not have an issue.
