Oh wow...
Russia's part in WWII was extremely downplayed by U.S. propaganda during the Cold War. 80% of Germany's military deaths were on the Eastern Front.

Fact is...U.S. invasion into Europe did comparatively little to cause a German defeat. More like it stopped Russia's westward advancement.

Russia had Hitler back peddling before America even got involved. Russia would have locked all of Europe down if they wanted to. Japan only attacked America as a distraction to get to an oil supply because we had cut off their previous one.

fact.
The Germans failed to knock out the Soviets quickly and it was all over after that...it just took a few years to go down.

True, but the air war of attrition which destroyed the Luftwaffe would of never happened as well. Also the manpower involved in the fortifications was formidable. To me when Zhukov blooded the Japanese so badly in the east that 18 divisions of armor and infantry were able to be moved into the fight against Germany the gig was up.

I think the Allies would have slowly won Europe.
Russia defeated Japan's largest land army with ease at the end of world war 2. I think Russia would have driven Japan back and signed some sort of piece treaty with them.
Japan would have eventually been driven back by the Asian countries many many years later.
