Why does Baskin Robin's make 31 different flavors? Because people like different things.

My wife and I both majored in history. We have no problem paying the bills, hell I'm the oldest of us at 26 and we already own a three bedroom house out right.
If you have talent and can get things done you can make money with a degree in marbles. Every degree teaches you skills and it's how you apply them.
I could say that people in engineering or science degrees only pursue them because of guaranteed jobs based on the degree, because otherwise they don't possess the skills to generate income, they rely on the degree. What would you say to that?
To each his own, and by no means does a degree in anything guarantee success. It's all about the individual.
