But u dont know the situation with those 37. Some of which may have been failing or about to be beaten out at their position or were just tired of school.
Some may have had a family situation occur and they rolled the dice for the family.
The bottom line is why would u want to play for the price of a scholarship and still have the school work to do vs go play for 100's of thousands of dollars and just concentrate on football.
Your point is valid and some players without a doubt shouldve stayed in school. Hopefully, moving forward these mistakes will minimize and players will make the correct decision regarding this. But this trend is growing. The good news is LSU went first and should be more prepared in dealing with underclassmen leaving early. Hopefully, we've weathered that storm and are back on solid footing depth wise for many years to come.
Does anyone really believe Fournette, Noil and Crob arent on the 3 year plan?
