I am a teacher and agree with some of the bitching. However, some of it is relative. In poor schools, the job dynamics are hard. Where I was last year at an all-black school and low SES, to get my 8th Grade Science scores above the state average was treated like I was a miracle worker. I used that to get a job at one of the top schools now.

I find the ones who complain the most are the best ones because they are the ones who work the hardest are underpaid. The shitty ones never complain because they are babysitters and give the other half a poor name. This is unfortunate. Teaching can be a lifelong job for some and a stress-free one if you just don't care...because it's almost impossible to lose your job.
