And I liked when Jarvis Landry said he wanted to wear 80. He wanted to honour the wars that wore it before.

and honestly, LSU hasn't had many great players wear #80. The only big time player I can think of off the top of my head is Dwayne Bowe and, to a lesser extent, Doug Moreau, unless you want to count punters. Landry wore 80, very likely, due to so many great NFL players wearing the number, namely Jerry Rice
