I think I could happily live in SLC. It's big enough to have access to various cultural opportunities (and amazing outdoor opportunities), but small enough to not have to deal with loads of traffic, congestion, etc. Plus, I don't think it's a "hip" city in the way that New Orleans is now, so that's a plus.
