You really don't understand why people would get mad by other people criticizing the coach of their favorite sports team?
Again, I personally don't give a shite if a dumbass Ole Miss or Auburn fan makes fun of Les or thinks he's an idiot, or a trolling media member ranks him as the 17th best coach in the country. I know him to be a great coach and representative of LSU that wins games at a higher rate than anyone in our program's history. But I can understand why people would want to defend him.
I find myself defending him to our own fans way too often, and that's what bothers me.

You and I both know it isn't. The sidewalk fans' lack of appreciation for a coach that has given our program this much staying power and prominence is what's laughable, and it's a legitimate threat to instate recruiting. You're like the hipsters of LSU football, thinking it's cool to remind people you watched when Saban was coach and how things were so much better when he had a worse winning percentage. It's pathetic.
