That's the one. Did you also get sold by a door-to-door sales pitch?
That's the one. They only sell them door to door. The kirby and the rainbow. We did not pay thousands I assure you.
We got a canister vacuum cleaner with 2 dozen attachments, a carpet shampooer, and the power sweeper thing for hardwood. It has a lifetime warranty and we got it for just under 1k and they bought our old Shark from us.
It doesn't bother me because a Dyson + carpet shampooer would be near the same price and wouldn't last as long.
It blows our $200 shark out of the water, no comparison.

Lux (formerly Electrolux) vacuums are sold door to door. A rep will visit you. They are mostly canister style vacs and are some of the best made. They are not inexpensive at $1500, but they will last 30 years.
They also don't change models/colors every year either. I believe the current model (2014) is the same one sold in 2007--why change it if it works (and they do).
My father still has a working Electrolux from the early '60's!
And, FWIW...Dyson and Miele are not in the same league. German engineering takes over with the Miele.
