Actually the transmission issues for Ram's are greatly over done and no longer a concern. Now they have 8 speed trans to go along with a 5.7 ltr HEMI that will blow the doors off any other truck.
IMO Chevy and GMC are fine trucks also.
Ford's are cheap pos's.
Having said that, I truly believe all companies make good cars now. The difference between best and worst is closer now than it has ever been.
