Sounds like somebody at the ACLU looked up the acronym "ACLU" and went "OH?! so that's what it means!"

It's kind of interesting how many people seem to agree with this when I have discussions online or IRL, but I guess the subject just attracts those passionate about ending this fiasco. Looks like most Americans are pretty satisfied with the status quo.
