I'm also tired of hearing that it's understood how something like this could happen. frick that!
Your children should be the center of your life. Everything you do in life should be for your kids. You know how your heart used to skip a beat when your first love walked in the room for the first time everyday? That should now happen when you see your kids for the first time. That is not being just a good parent, that is how you should be - period. If it's not like that with your kids, then maybe I could pretend to understand how somebody could forget. Either that or on dope. In any case, a terrible excuse for a parent.
