Wouldn't this mean fewer states expanding medicare equals less burden on each state's tax base? Meaning it's still good for every state's tax base for every state not to expand?

1. There have been many studies that show the costs of the uninsured ways heavier on you through higher medical costs and insurance than does Medicare. Hospitals don't just take the loss when treating the uninsured. They pass it on to you. Like a store does with shoplifters.
2. You're not only paying for the uninsured in your state through higher premiums and medical costs but you're paying for Medicaid Expansion in these states:
