There goes the neighborhood. Woodville and St. Francisville are next. Their children will certainly thank them for their greed.

A 500 acre section of land has already been approved by the zoning commission in West Feliciana for a "man camp" / laydown yard on the southern end of the parish. It is said that they will be able to house 5000 people. West Feliciana Parish has a population of 10k with roughly 20% of that under the age of 18. If things go as talked about then there will be some major changes.

Reports indicate that by 2015 there could be maybe 20 rigs drilling and with drilling times (spud to TD)around 30 days, wells will be popping up everywhere.

At the least its exciting to watch this thing grow and imagine the possibilities. Im not sold that this will become a major deal like Eagle Ford or Bakken but after reading the horror stories from ND, who would want that anyway.

I followed the Mississippi Lime Play with the same excitement and was convinced by sunshine pumping articles that it would take off only to see it fizzle. The TMS beard watching and every article says HK is the stock to jump on.
