The cop that gave me a ticket for my windows being to dark explained what a safety hazzard it was and how he couldn't see me inside my truck. I think his windows were twice as dark as mine were.

Unless he was in a private vehicle, I am not sure why you were upset by tint on his windows. The law excludes law enforcement agency vehicles, again, for the safety of the officer.
