As you said, nothing was unexpected. I'm sure that he has reflected deeply on all aspects of this and had a great deal of inner dialogue throughout the experience. Any intelligent person would be prepared to answer the questions. So in that regard, of course he was rehearsed.

What's your point? Would you find it more believable if he bumbled through the answers and seemed as though he hadn't given the info and his actions much thought? His answers were concise and on point, exactly what's would expect from someone telling the truth about something they understand well.

Every answer looked prepared, that's all. Combined with an air of smug nerdiness, I don't think it's going to help public perception as much as it could have. Just my opinion.
