Wow! After reading an article on him (now lost when I had a computer "upgrade") and talking to his brother I still don't know if the gov't whacked him or the cartel did it.

I'd be inclined to believe that if the cartel did it, no one would have ever been arrested for it, this assassin seemed to have been caught pretty easily
