In north Louisiana my mom called pulled over by a cop. He asked her to get out of the car and he pulled out a notepad and signed a voucher for her to go to the local grocery store to receive a free turkey. This was around Thanksgiving. My mom didn't have the heart to tell him she was a vegetarian. She gave the turkey to me. Getting a turkey from a pig...who would've thunk it.
