Agreed, as a current student I have seen the same issues. It makes me really sad for these kids. Because they really don't know, and they should. I wish that everyone would be receptive to learn and that these kids could hAve some of the teachers that I had.

Problem is, once they're in college they're beyond accepting new material. I know for a fact that instructors, specifically grad students within the English Dept. at LSU, let "diverse" students slide on basic grammar and sentence structure.
