re: Does a caterpillar "spit" out its coccon or does it "poo" it out?

I had caterpillars when I was little too. My grandma has milkweed plants that attract monarch butterflies, so we'd take the caterpillars off there and have a few branches and leaves in the little plastic box. We successfully cultivated a few butterflies though.



They're so purdy.
