Worst case scenario is I get stuck paying rent for Jan-July and keep living in the complex I live in now. I'll survive. But it would be nice not to worry about that. I do have the option to sublease, so maybe I'd luck out, but I'm considering the worst case scenario.

i was prepared to do this too
i just wish i'd know if i was staying in BR after december

I did this when I was in my last semester and found almost every landlord was fine with it when we offered to pay up front for the price they were asking. That was a few years ago though.
