I can understand your hesitance toward choosing the Red Wings, as much as I hate to admit it they were the Yankees of NHL when there was no salary cap. Players came here because they knew they could win and get paid a ton for doing it. Now that the salary cap era has been around for a while, the Red Wings are a much more normal team.

That being said, Dallas Stars wouldn't be a bad choice
