My dad swears Franklin was a nice place when he grew up there in the 40's and 50's

Honestly it was a nice place to live up until the late 90's in my opinion. The problem is, there are no jobs to keep anyone living around there. All of our generation have moved out of town to where the money is. All that's left there is old old money and some of our age groups. Very small number of them. The schools aren't anything to brag about either. I am biased of course cause I don't think the school I am talking about has been the same for years. West st Mary was a mistake and has killed franklin high. I can't speak for St. John. I would live there but jobs keep me where I am.

I still like franklin though, so many memories.

So many memories. I passed by the double jumps the other day on my way to the camp. All I could do is smile and shake my head.
