I didn't mean to compare them side by side, just the rawness of them though Werner was more raw.

No offense, but are we talking about the same Bjoern Werner? Werner was one of the more pollished DEs, but he lacked elite speed/athleticism to be a stand-up 3/4 OLB and he lacked elite size/length to be a strongside 4/3 DE. He could dominate in college with pollished passrushing moves and a good motor, but once elite NFL tackles get their hands on him he's f'ed.

Barr is the exact opposite. He's an incredible athlete who is just now learning his position. He has the length and explosion to be one of the top defenders from this draft. He is a freak of nature and for some unknown reason people think he might be dropping. Look at the measureables, the guy is on par with Clowney in most measureables.

Anyone who thinks you pass on Anthony f'n Barr at 27 is batshit crazy.

Yeah, Barr is a guy you sprint to the podium for if he's there at 27.

All of what Nostradamus said.

Sure, Shazier and Ford might be further along at the moment. But Barr could reach a level higher than what those guys ever could due to his freakish athletic ability. And if they are further along than him, its not that much.

For whatever reason I had him and Ansah mixed up. My bad.

Well Ansah did pretty well for himself. Still not sold on Barr. I see the potential but I've been burned too many times getting excited by guys with potential.
