Lost an uncle to cancer. He hadn't been feeling well, and when he went to the doctor and got the results, everyone was in shock. The doctors and hospital staff put together a go forward plan and told him what treatments they would put him on to beat it. He was gone 3 days later...
He wasn't even 40 yet. Left behind two beautiful children.

To me that is the saddest part. I feel so sorry for the children that have to lose a parent at such a young age.

Best friend's little brother was diagnosed with leukemia this year at 16. He just got back from St. Jude's, where he was kicking cancer's arse
