Exactly. Tulane is building a new stadium with plans for an IPF and other athletics facilities. Their resources are FAR greater and in the long run, assuming they continue to commit to athletics, they have the brightest future of any program in this state not named LSU.

Every other school in the state is competing to be #2, and good for them. But at the end of the day, ULL is a threat to Tech, Tulane, ULM, etc. Not LSU.

We're spending over $100 million on athletic facilities right now. Over $300 million in renovations to Tiger Stadium in the last decade. ULL has an athletic revenue of $10 million when you take away state subsidies. Even with subsidies, it would take their entire athletic department a decade to match what LSU makes in one football season. It's just not comparable.
