There used to be a place called Visko's, then it became the Beef Connection. It was on Lafayette Street at Whitney Blvd, if my memory serves me correctly. It's been a long, long time. Doubt if it's there any more, but they had a great steak.....

They were never in the same building. Visko's was across the street in what is now El Mesquite.
To give my input on Chinese...China Doll rocks. Best crab Rangoon in the New Orleans area.
