My dad collects scrap metal.
He goes every couple of months and gets an extra $2-300.
If he manages to get his hands on some copper, he can get more than that, but its pretty hard to flip copper wire now.

Tell your dad that we want our two condensing units back from behind our office building. Our security cameras caught a glimpse of him but his hoodie was covering his face.

They write you a check for it now. No longer pay cash since all the wire stripping and air conditioner stealing in BR a few years back/currently happening
If you can put a load of ferrous metal of at least a ton or more it'll make it worth your while.
