Yea, I didn't see the OT thread. That strikes me as odd. I can definitely understand not wanting to wait to get the vehicle you really want, I've been there myself.
At this point it would depend in the kind of deal he's getting. If he's trying to buy a leftover 2013, that deal may not be there in a couple months. Other than that, not waiting for that to go off your report is definitely odd.

Surprisingly I bought a truck last week and they were only willing to discount the 13 1k for than the 14, i told them they were crazy
