try also the Ropa Vieja Sandwich, or if in Miami, find a MEDIA NOCHE..I like it even better

BTW the original Cuban sandwich did not have mustard or mayo...though it is served that way today in many restaurants...with ONE or the OTHER The pickle used to be dill..some are doing bread/butter.
The moisture comes from the pickle and the melting with the press..and YES, the BREAD is the key ingredient as well.
As I said, try the MEDIA NOCHE, different bread, same contents.
