I'm fine with their libertarianism. It's their humor that's not as sharp and consistent. The best recent season was 2012 and the worst was either 2010 and 2011 maybe even 2013.. That kind of roller coaster of quality didn't exist back in 2000-2005.

There was what, 60 episodes between 2000 and 2005, give or take? I think about 40 of them are on my "must stop whatever I'm doing and watch" list.

I go by the season number, the way their seasons are you seem to be numbering them wrong.

Season 17 (the current one) is 13 and 14 for instance.

They seem to be burnt out lately, I mean its been 18 months since the last episode I liked and its hard to believe they've done only about a dozen episodes since "A Nightmare on Facetime" which actually I can't believe came out in September 2012. Maybe you are right they are going down in quality, but I can't remember a gap this long with episodes.

What kept them from an episode all the way from Fall 2012 to Fall 2013?

14, 15, and 16 were solid. It seems 17 is taking forever and dragging. I wonder if they are intentionally trying to abandon South Park?
