Im hoping the gold spoon will do the trick

It didn't work last weekend. but it should.
I still had enough in the limited stuff I brought to catch a few though. Hardest thing to me about catching redfish is keeping it interesting. I try to hit different spots every time I go, and sometimes that involves a paddle that hardly seems worth it. But it's fun to explore new places.

One thing I love about Delacroix is there are so many different underwater environments to fish. We hit this one spot that looked like it was a side river off the amazon. Super clear, 8 foot channel. You could see the redfish and some sheepshead swimming through, a short paddle away was a 8" deep pond with redfish tailing all over it. I just love it. Not saying it's the only place like that in Louisiana, it's just my little slice of heaven. I still have my skunkless streak going there. Despite a few times saying, well today may be the day that Delacroix disappoints, we always end up catching.
