I got frustrated with my niece one time while babysitting and spanked her. My sister got pissed off about it, but never confronted me about Iy, just complained to my other sister.
My other sister and BIL wouldnt care if I spanked their kids, but I try not, they have to be really bad before I would consider it. Even then, I just spat on them on the thigh.

All of my kids were different. Some needed more strict discipline like an occasional butt whooping. Some just need the "look" Depends on the kid and the siuation IMO.
