The recent batmans probably had an effect on your opinion. Given today's technology Keaton would've been a no-brainer.

It's not Keaton. He was fine. It was the movie itself. It doesn't hold up at all. It's very much a Tim Burton movie, and not in a good way.

Plus, the purported amazing acting job by Jack Nicholson is just Jack Nicholson wearing makeup and laughing between lines. You could close your eyes, and if you weren't familiar with the dialogue, you couldn't tell how it was any different from his other roles.

I could get behind that. However, the Nolan v Burton dynamic is an awfully big "what if". He and Bale were obviously the two best to me
