Yea....right! Folks, I'll say it again. The NCAA is the NFL's bitch. We're now seeing players in their sophomore year going pro. I thought the 'new' norm was players normally went pro at the end of their junior year? Where is the NCAA and the SEC? IMO absolutely no way, LSU will ever be a contender for an NC as long as this is the case.

IMO the NFL is grinding up players at an alarming rate. They [NFL Owners] need "feeder" programs like LSU to supply a steady stream of players for that ridiculous 16 [plus four preseason] game regular season. Keep in mind, had the NFL Players Association agreed the league would have adopted an 18 game regular season.

I realize nothing is going to change, but don't ask me [as a taxpayer] to subsidize players on schlorship just so "greedy NFL owners" can walk in and lure away 'talent' with the promise of big $$. And keep in mind for those marginal players that's all it amounts to......a promise.

Enough already!

NFL....this ones for you.

BTW....there's isn't an appropriate 'Emoticon' to express how I feel about the NCAA, so I'll just pull a double.

Hill was a great player & a good Tiger. I sure hate to see him leave but I wish him the best of luck! Until we stop the flow of JR's to the NFL we will never compete for the NC again.

And the effects are already evidenced in the fan presence and support in the stadium...or did the administration not notice it this past year...inspite of all the hand wringing...lol...and it's happening nation-wide...and when the goose is sufficiently cooked and deceased, the players and the NCAA/SEC will look stupidly at each other and wonder "just what happened"! I'm out!
