2014 WR recruit George Rushings

Since he's scheduled for an official visit on the last recruiting weekend before signing day, I wanted to get a look at who he was and on his ESPN profile is says he has a 40 time of 5.00.
That has be some kind of typo don't you think? A WR prospect for LSU can't be that damn slow.

He was laser-recorded with that time at one of their events. I don't know if he slipped at the start or what, but I think he is a 4.5-(closer to)4.6 kind of guy. Him coming the last weekend makes it sound like that visit likely won't even happen when it comes time to visit

There are better prospects we can get than Rushing. He would do no more than Armand Williams here. At best he would be a James Wright type kid. I'm a big fan of Wright and how he has handled his career but if we are taking kids for that role then I say find an instate kid to do it.
Just like DL, shoot for the moon and hope to grab 1 guy and hopefully keep Dupre instate and then move on to '15 and load up after regrouping. I'd rather save borderline schollies to use next year.
Texas has 2-3 kids in their class that will reopen their recruitments thst are better than Rushing. Porter and Joe are 2

we have already offered one of these ut kids. apparently, the kid does not want to visit.

Porter. Still try but he's likely headed back to TCU if they'll take him unless the new wr coach at Texas keeps him in
