Nadal clearly got the tougher road to the final than Djoker, but that's just the luck of the draw. But I'm not quite sure I would call his early rounds the "Group of Death." Tomic can be tricky for some of the lower seeds in the first round. But this is the guy who claims to use "tanking as a weapon" against some guys to get back in matches. Sorry, but this clown has no shot against Nadal. And the dynamic Monfils...all he's really good for is a bunch of highlight clips, usually in a losing effort. Odds are stronger that Nadal will probably play either Sock or Harrison instead of Monfils. Resurgent Hewitt because he beat Federer, who has been on a decline now for the past three years? Sorry, I just can't see any of these matches going five sets with Nadal, no more than any of the early round matchups that Djoker would face.

Well, this so called "Group of Death" for Nadal isn't looking so scary after all.

You have to admit Tomic was a tough guy for him to draw in the first round.

And Monfils/Sock is a tougher third round match than Istomin/Tursunov.
